DJing since the late 90's, though brought up in the early 90's rave scene, Eric Young originally started out as "siriusrising", and became known throughout central illinois for his epic 3 hr dj sets on his radio show "Between Zero and One" on WEFT in Champaign-Urbana. He spun an exciting and psychedelic mix of acid house, minimal techno, and IDM, often going into long forays into ambient washes with breaks mixed in. Now, he's switched it up again, by taking on IDM and hip-hop under the name HipGnosis. You can find his mixes featured on a number of sites and blogs across the web, in particular Abrooklynlife.com, where his downloads exceeded 4500 for the first day of his frst mix released there! in 2007, he started his own record label, HipGnosis Music," to promote himself and other extremely talented artists.
