Growing up in southern Ontario, Ben was first introduced to the hard and minimal techno influences coming out of Detroit at an early age. Influenced by friends, DJ Just-B began upon a journey spanning endless apartment sessions and the various opening slot. Ten years ago Just-B relocated to beautiful Nelson, BC and the fresh air and the grounded vibes allowed his musical expressions to grow into a slightly slower but way more funky sound. He held a residency and managed bookings at Fluid Lounge Nelson while rocking out the occasional house party and a gigs around BC. DJ Just-B's style has honed itself into what fans now describe as the best house has to offer: a smoothly mixed blend of jazzy grooves, funky rhythms, luscious lyrics, swingin' horns, boompty beats, and bouncy basslines!
